Burn treatment: Silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream is OK to use as a means to reduce the risk of getting a secondary bacterial infection of the burn area. It can be applied on the blister area also.

Fireworks: can cause burns. A blister is typically asecond degree burn. If the blister is intact do not routinely break it as infection can deepen and worsen an injury and the intact skin is a barrier, however cleanlness and topical antibiotics such as silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) are commonly used. The best treatment for fireworks inury is prevention!! https://www.facebook.com/handinjuryprevention/
