Not feet first: Swimming and water areobics are great in pregnancy but jumping into a pool feet first carries some risk of causing an air embolism. While this is a small risk, it is best to be safe. Hope this helps.

Consider this:: Likely safe, but check with your gynecologist. **However, chlorine in swimming pools breaks down into potentially toxic byproducts when it comes in contact with organic matter(This is how it disinfects). These compounds, one of which is chloroform, are called Trihalomethanes (TTHM). GO TO https://bit.ly/1HS6HuW **Potential risk likely less after 1st trimester.

Why jump, just step: Swimming is both excellent exercise & nice way to cool off in Summer. Jumping in feet first is also fun, however ,there is a tiny risk, so why risk it.
