Gran tissue surgery: Recommend you get a second opinion from another gynecologist to re-evaluate the problem.

Second opinion?: Some granulation tissue is common during the healing process after a vaginal hysterectomy. Usually a watchful waiting approach is taken for at least 6 weeks afterwards. Sometimes too much treatment is worse than no treatment at all. Surgical excision is also an injury that can cause granulation tissue to form. Before you consent to getting it "cut out," you ought to get a second opinion.
