A member asked:

Why do my nasal turbinates swell when i relax/have muscle weakness from lack of sleep?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure are related: Nasal turbinates will swell during periods of infection, allergic, or other inflammatory types of processes (trauma, chemical irritation, etc). Therefore, I cannot find any relationship between fatigue or states of relaxation/muscle weakness and inflammatory processes of a noninfectious, allergic, or other nature.
