Self-diagnosis?: If your bowel movements are basically normal and you are not losing weight, then you probably do not have malabsorption or maldigestion which might produce this despite a normal diet. Get a basic textbook or reliable online dietetics resource and count how much protein you eat daily. If it's 50 or more grams daily, you're simply not protein deficient. Why do you ask.
