Chest pain - acute : Any chest discomfort in a patient over the age of fourty needs to be evaluated ASAP as symptoms of heart artery blockage are often atypical and vague. Take an aspirin and call 911 if severe or if not severe, have someone drive the patient to the nearest ER ASAP. In the case of heart attacks time is of the essence in reducing residual heart damage. Do not delay. Prevention Works!
