Your normal!: No value in medicine is absolute. If that is your temperature all the time, and you feel fine, that is normal for you. 37.1 i(98.8 F) is not a fever anyway, it is just a little higher than standard and within the normal range. Anybody's normal temp will vary during the day. In your case, your temp may indicate illness if it is over 37.7 or under 36.5. Anything in between is normal variation.

I'll try to clarify!: While oral temp. is lower than rectal temp, you may be confusing "having a temperature" with "having a fever". 37.1 isn't considered a fever and isn't a sign of illness. Also, while 37 .0 is the AVERAGE temp, NORMAL temp. can range from 36.4 to 37.6 degrees C. You're actually unusual in having the same temp ALWAYS, since most people's temp ranges plus or minus about 0.5 degrees C.
