Medical abortion: With EDS you should work closely with the physician managing the EDS. If you have bleeding disorder - i.e.bleed more easily - then medical abortion is somewhat safer. Avoiding the need for the collagen function, in order to repair tissue after surgery would be wise in your case. However, medical abortions have risk of bleeding as well. Please work with an EDS experienced physician.

Medical: if you are early enough for a medical procedure, it likely would be preferable to a DNC since that scrapes the wall of the uterus which in your case would be more fragile and possibly easier for the rare complications o having significant bleeding, and of uterine perforation to occur
