Best treatment for neck pain ? with normal x.ray

DR advice: Best for you to continue with the advice from your DR. If you have had an xray then you have been seen. It would be best for you to follow the advice given to you by that health care provider. It is not wise to give instructions with the complete medical history and exam notes.

Posture: You may want to try applying moist heat to your neck 2-3 times per day and start a short course of anti-inflammatory such as advil or aleve (naproxen). Make sure you have a good lumbar support if you sit in a chair several hours per day. This will help with posture and will reduce stress on the neck.
