Ptosis: Ptosis (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001018.htm) refers to droopy eyelids. Because there are potentially many causes, you need to see your Ophthalmologist for complete evaluation & then to discussion appropriate treatment options, one of which is blepharoplasty or lid lift, especially if interferes w/vision.
