Rogaine (minoxidil) for women: Rogaine (minoxidil) 5% has been shown to work better for women than rogaine (minoxidil) 2%. It does need to be applied twice a day also. The one drawback is that with the 5%, women are more likely to grow peachfuzz on their cheeks that with the 2%. Usually that peachfuzz disappears a few weeks after the treatment is stopped.
