Breast feed: You could breast feed. Breast fed babies do not have that problem. I hope that all works out for you and your baby.

Struggles ????: Infants have loose abdominal muscles to permit the prenatal umbilical blood to flow past easily.They don't start to firm up until they gain the ability to roll and sit (baby crunches). They grunt against their diaphragm to help go, and this is normal. Try sitting on a bedpan sometime to understand why gravity helps you. Let this issue pass, there are so many others you will need to focus on.

Patience : unfortunately some infants need to learn how to poop. As long as the stools are soft there's no need for concern. Parents often are concerned about their infants Bal habits. In this case the baby should do fine and and overcome this issue eventually.
