If it's a period, no: Sometimes some women can have bleeding related to implantation, however this bleeding is VERY light and self-limited. If this is truly a period that you're having then you don't have anything to worry about. Getting tested is never a bad idea; however you should really consider getting on a method of birth control if you don't want to become pregnant.
