Maybe er: If you have been knocked out , or vomited, or the ha is getting worse, or hit you head from a high velocity collision. (mva, fall from a height) then i would get to an er.

Go see your doctor: Severe headaches after head injury are worrisome for traumatic brain injury. In general, headaches should go away rather quickly. And you shouldn't need more than over-the-counter pain relief. More worrisome if you feel nauseated or notice a change in strength, coordination etc. Bottom line: go see your doctor re headache. Go to hospital er if anything worse.
