A member asked:

Is it true that mononucleosis can cause hodgkin's lymphoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and No!: Mononucleosis is caused by a virus called EB Virus. Nearly all cases of Mononucleosis recover from the virus infection. There is a rare patient where it can evolve/comeback as Hodgkin's disease. But it is such a rare event, you need not to worry about it happening in your case.
