Amenorrhea : is associated with lower than normal estrogen levels. Estrogen is important in adolescence because of its role in the building of bone mass. If you are missing more than 3 periods in a row I would suggest a visit to a gyn to discuss your options. In the meantime make sure you are getting adequate calcium and vitamin D. Weight bearing exercise also helps build strong bones.
