DVT symptoms.: While symptoms of DVT are fairly unreliable for diagnosis, the general symptoms include swelling, pain, tenderness and warmth to the calf muscle of the lower leg. There could also be a hardened vein that could be felt - we call this the "palpable cord".

Swelling/Pain: I am assuming we are talking about a DVT in the leg. The most common symptoms would be fairly acute onset of pain, swelling, redness and warmth in the leg. Usually symptoms would occur after sitting in a car or an airplane for an extended period of time. seek medical attention if you are having these issues
