Symptoms: The most common symptoms are pain and swelling your calves which can extend to your thigh. Can also get tightness and redness. The leg or legs may feel hot as well.

DVT symptoms.: While symptoms of DVT are fairly unreliable for diagnosis, the general symptoms include swelling, pain, tenderness and warmth to the calf muscle of the lower leg. There could also be a hardened vein that could be felt - we call this the "palpable cord".
