A Spectrum: There are many steroid containing eyedrops. They vary in potency. Your ophthalmologist will give to you the one with the potency your condition requires. The two side effects of note are cataract formation which happens after years of use and elevation of the eye pressure (glaucoma) which can happen quickly. The less potent steroids will less likely do this.
