Cramping postmenopau: If i understand correctly you are a 42-year-old woman in early menopause with cramping and with known fibroid tumors. This phenomenon is easily explained by the fact that these fibroids will undergo spontaneous degenerationbecause of the declining estrogen levels. I would start with an ultrasound to confirm that they are shrinking and that they are the source of the pain.
