Vertigo: Sounds like benign positional vertigo; however, it's best to get a full exam (neurological exam) done by your primary care physician or a neurologist to rule out other causes of vertigo. If it is benign positional vertigo, there are medicines such as meclizine and Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) that can help. He needs to see a internist or neurologist for an accurate diagnosis.
