ENT VIsit: If the radiology (mri as suggested) is normal then it might be worthwhile to see an ent. He may be experiencing vestibular neuritis or even something like benign positional vertigo (both these have nothing to do with a cancer diagnosis). See an ENT who treats vertigo - not all ents do.

Go to the hospital!: Vertigo and vomiting in a patient with advanced lung cancer without brain metastases can be secondary to chemotherapy but might also be secondary to a stroke which might not be seen on ct scan. Patients with lung cancer can have a problem with blood clots that may lead to a stroke. Regardless of the cause, it sounds like your husband needs hydration. Please seek medical attention.
