Would depend: If dislocated or broken in joint (intraarticular) if not splinting the toe and surgical shoe is good. Ice to reduce swelling if present.

Fractures: need to be splinted and if there is a dislocation present it will need to be relocated appropriately. Check with your Podiatrist for proper splinting techniques.

Depends: If the toe fracture is displaced it will need to be reduced. Most times a simple splint is fine. In some cases a pin might be needed to surgically stabilize the fracture. See your local doctor accordingly
