Klonopin (clonazepam) Regimen: If it was prescribed for you to take bwice a day, ideally the doses should be spaced out as close to 12 hours as possible, The duration of action for Klonopin (clonazepam) varies from patient to patient & depends on the dose. And because it's highly metabolized, each person has his or her own rate of metabolism

Discuss w/ Dr: Asking your pharmacist might be an idea too. Some say it's EFX are faster if your stomach is empty (1hr before/2hrs after a meal. When you rise and shortly before bed may work well if the 12 hr frame is hard. Some only need it PRN so discuss it all w/ your therapist/Dr. Best!

6-12 hours apart: Klonopin (clonazepam) technically has an elimination 1/2 life of 30-40 hours but will not have a noticeable effect for that long. with BID dosing, I would generally recommend 6-12 hours between doses based upon the duration of effect that you notice with each dose which. This may be affected by numerous things and difficult to predict for any given individual.
