Gerd and hpylori: very interesting case. H pylori can lower acid production by inflaming gastric acid producing cells so they don't make as much acid. When h pylori is treated, the cells recover and you make more acid (back to normal). It is not the egd that made your reflux worse, it is the h pylori treatment.you will have to discuss with your doctor about needing reflux medication.
