A member asked:

Hi! can have my thyroid medicine thyroxine at night ??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Levothyroxine: It's recommended to take thyroxine early in AM at least one hour prior to breakfast. There is a study that shows Levothyroxine taken at bedtime significantly improved thyroid hormone levels. Quality-of-life variables and plasma lipid levels showed no significant changes with bedtime vs morning taking.
