Stop what?: Taking som e one else's prescription medication is a poor idea and can be dangerous. If your menses is what is meant, then it could work or it may very well not and cause abnormal bleeding.

Bad plan: If you are trying to stop a period, start a period, make it a "morning after pill, " or somehow manage anything that could either be birth control or pregnancy control; taking your friend's pills will accomplish nothing. The best thing to accomplish what you wish is to commit to a prescription of your own and take them on a one-pill-daily-basis.
