More info needed: More information is needed in order to make a diagnosis. The hip symptoms could be from sprain,bursitis or be secondary to chronic knee problems. Arthritis is unlikely at your age. If you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen may help. If symptoms persist,see an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation and treatment.
