Abdominal pain: Persistent abdominal discomfort,especially with associated tenderness or fever warrants an evaluation by your physician. Diverticulitis mostly occurs in the left lower abdomen which becomes tender but can occasionally occur on the right lower abdomen as can appendicitis.
