I'm having a panic attack during the time for my regular scheduled dose of zoloft. can i take zoloft then my xanax (alprazolam) minuted after or is that bad? help!

Yes/you can use both: There are no significant interactions between Zoloft and Xanax (alprazolam). As always, avoid alcohol when using these drugs, and do not take dosage higher than prescribed. But there is no danger in taking these two together, as long as you stay within prescribed dosages. If you are suffering from panic attacks, it's best to avoid caffeine also (coffee, tea, sodas). Slow deep breathing may help also.
