About 5 oz: Hi Iambuff225M476 Interesting question. The old medical joke is it takes an autopsy to answer really interesting questions. For starters, liver in a 170# human will weigh about 3-4#...and about 10% is glycogen/water (in a 1:3 hydrated ratio). So you could 'carry' about 5 ounces of watery glycogen. But muscle can store 20% by weight hydrated glycogen...so??? Good luck!
