May be it has to.: If you haven't had a period in almost 20 years, you will likely need help getting pregnant. Are you sure that your insurance won't cover fertility treatment? It varies from state to state, but many have laws requiring that health insurance policies cover fertility treatment. I recommend that you start by seeing a gynecologist and take it from there.
