What is the best medicine for knee pain if you are allergic to nsaid drugs. my dr confirmed the allergy. trying to get info before i go to orthopedic.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NSAID allergy: There are a few options, though one is RX only. There is a product called Traumeel that is not an RX and would be a great alternative to the NSAID's. There are also topical anti-inflammatories that are compounded by pharmacies, that many people with NSAID allergies can use as they are applied topically and minimally absorbed. Also look up how to use hot/colt contrast therapy.
