Probably not: Appendicitis causes constant pain that steadily worsens over 24-48 hours until the appendix bursts. At that point there is constant severe pain and usually vomiting and fever. Intermittent pain over a longer period of time is very unlikely to be appendicitis. A medical exam can help determine the cause of abdominal pain.
