If you mean: AC separation, it is a form of sprain at the acromio-clvavicular (distal clavicle and part of scapula) joint. If it is severe, you might require operation. See an orthopedic surgeon.

Orthopedic surgeon: The term "seperated shoulder" refers to an injury in the joint between the clavicle and the acromion. The vast majority of these can be treated without surgery. Orthopedic surgeons would be the type of doctors that treat this condition, which is often caused by falling on an outstretched arm.
