A member asked:

I always have problems with my throat because i talk a lot.i had nodes before. i smoke but not all the time. lately, my throat hurts when i smoke why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Forgive my frankness: As one who speaks professionally and thus earns a living by using her mind, you have done well with your life so far. Your tissues change and epithelium may thin a bit as you mature. Your throat is asking you to stop smoking. I am, too, and so are the people who love you. Why not take that brave step right now?
