I would advise you to exercise...take a good walk daily. start with 10-15 minutes, and slowly extend it to 30 minutes daily. Early morning is the best time, go to a place which has trees or green vegeation. it will give you positive vibes. Also think positively about yourself. May need medication if not well in 1 mon

Feeling Good: There are several types of depression. Reactive depression occurs as a result of loss and eventually we adjust. If one does not adjust or if the cause is not clear certainly seek professional help. "feeling good" by david burns is an excellent self-help book based on science. Don't let the thickness of it intimidate you. Take it bit by bit. The very best to you.

Drink water: make sure first that you are drinking a lot of water, gaterade, propel,juices,etc...... your body can tolerate being starved for a while, but it will not tolerate dehydration, specially in the summer time. you can start eating fruits, try ice cream, something sweet, in one hand keep you suger up, on the other hand bring back some appetite.

Do not despair...: Loss of appetite due to depression and/or anxiety is common but problematic for many reasons: impact on energy, weight loss, brain function, motivation, mood to name a few. To stimulate appetite, you may 1) try a little food or drink containing sugar, 2) refuse to allow negative thoughts/judgments about your mood/anxiety take hold (let those thoughts come + go), 3) schedule appt psychotherapist.

Therapy?: Have you yet tried any form of psychotherapy? Typically, the optimal combination of things to treat emotional issues such as anxiety or depression is medication (which, on your best day, is supposed to take the edge off symptoms) but the real gruntwork takes place in psychotherapist's consulting room.

1st thing-see doc: Poor appetite frequently goes along with depression and is a serious symptom. You should be in treatment and medication should be considered along with therapy. Sometimes a depressed person may have suicidal thoughts and this situation should be addressed immediately by a professional. If such thoughts are present , calling 911or going to the hospital would be in order.

Well, first consider: what stressors you have. They likely are big enough to interfere with normal physical needs, like eating. Probably, your sleep isn't good, either. Go to a psychiatrist for this one, or perhaps first to your GP.

Seek a professional: When a person is as depressed as you are describing, then you are in a situation that you cannot fix by yourself. You need professional help. While medications can help, psychotherapy or counseling with an experienced therapist is also an important and helpful part of treating depression. Psychotherapy can alleviate your sense of being alone with your pain, and help relieve your symptoms.

Depression/anxiety: Warrant evaluation so that you can begin treatment for symptoms as soon as possible. Usually, treatment is with medications, but often therapy along with meds works better than either one alone, and that is something you could discuss with your provider. If you’re feeling as though you’re a danger to yourself, please call 911, or present to nearest ER/urgent care immediately. Good luck!

Depression: Depression can lead to anxiety and loss of appetite. First step is to have a medical evaluation to see if you have any physical problems. If none, then it would be good to consult with a psychologist to get help in overcoming the depression. Medication can also help with this.
