Drug Interactions: Drug interactions can occur with combinations of prescription SSRI with certain statins, including those found in naturally occurring Red Yeast Rice. It is best to avoid Red yeast rice and ask MD to use a non-interacting statin. Consider using magnesium, vitamin D & omega fish oils (www.cardiamin.com, use code: CMC), to lower lipids and help with depression & anxiety.
