Not uncommon: It is not uncommon that a cyst would fill back up with fluid. Sometimes they have to remove the cyst completely to alleviate the problem.

Cyst needs clotting: few tumors grow back as large masses and allow for freedom of disease. It is usually the large, low grade liposarcomas or benign giant retroperitoneal schwannomas. Since there may be adherence to the lymphatic system, when removing the mass transected lymphatics can leak. The resulting cavity can be obliterated with clotting agents injected into the cavity
