Black in mucus: You need to see your Dr right away, continue prilosec & bland diet, use OTC antiacid for heart burn such as mylanta. I'm not sure the speck of blood is coming from your throat or stomach, what is the color of your stools? if it is dark or black it could be Melina which is digested blood from the stomch, you need to check it out, you might need a gastroentrologist consult. Feel better
