A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many things: Swallowing difficulty (dysphagia) or pain on swallowing (odynophagia) could be caused by many things. Some diagnoses include gerd, achalasia, diffuse esophageal spasm, candida or pill-induced esophagitis or esophageal cancer. There are many other possibilities, but if you are having problems swallowing, see your doctor.
