More info needed: This discomfort may be due to diverticulitis, irritable bowel, inflammation of the colon(colitis), or ovarian/pelvic problems. If symptoms persist, especially if there is tenderness, see your physician who will take a thorough history and perform a physical exam and then order appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis.

Wide differential: In a young woman this could be pain from ovulation , an ovarian cyst, constipation, excess gas. Less likely diverticulitis Which is seen with fever and typically in middle age patients or older with diverticulosis. The nature of your pain also depends on the time frame, precipitated, alleviating factors, and associated symptoms. See your doctor if this is a chronic issue. If you have a fever call
