What could be wrong with you if you have off and on pain in your lower left abdomen? i haven't had any pain all day it just happend suddenly and it's a really sharp pain it feels okay when i'm just sitting still but when i move around it hurts really bad.

Hello. : Hello. I can't diagnose your problem. This is in the area of the decending colon leading into the rectum. Diseases which cause inflammation of the large intestine can cause pain but are often associated with bowel changes. Significant constipation / obstipation can also cause pain in that area. If it continues, your doctor can evaluate for etiology.
