Avoid breastfeeding: During treatment and for 12 hours after last dose, call your doctor for options, methyergonovine is mainlyused to stop bleeding after delivery, as it causes contraction of smooth muscles, safety with breastfeeding is unknown, but there is a warning not to use it with as mentioned above
