See doctor: It appears that you may have a nerve issue but I recommend that you contact your family doctor ASAP to make sure that you don't have a cardiac problem even though you are only 21 and especially if you suffer from diabetes. Were it not for the left arm involvement, I would be more inclined to consider costochrondritis (inflammation at the cartilage of the rib cage). You need to be examined
