A member asked:

Is horsetail and natural dieuretic? would this be helpful in pseudotumour cerebri?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Data missing: to the best of my knowledge Acetazolamide is the only agents that works and the reason is not a true diuretic effect. Lasix (furosemide) has been tried. Weigh loss is of benefit. This is a serious condition as you may know. I would seek care from a Neurologist, eye doc and a neurosurgeon if needed and would avoid home remedies. They may work, but the data is just no there.
