Six Weeks Too Long: Cervical polyp? Colon polyp? Sinus polyp? Bladder polyp? Uterus polyp? Vocal cord polyp? Stomach polyp? Lolly polyp??? Well, 7 weeks is a long time for anything to bleed, let alone the base of a removed polyp. Have you been taking aspirin or Motrin? You take blood thinners? If not, get your doctor to check it out. Generally, leaking or bleeding for more than a week should be investigated.
