Maybe too early: Two days is early; a negative result won't prove you weren't infected. If you were definitely exposed (i.e. your partner has gonorrhea for sure) you should be treated now; don't wait for a positive test. If it's just a suspicion (e.g. unprotected sex with a new partner) retesting makes sense. You also need to test for chlamydia, and blood tests for syphilis and HIV in a few weeks. Good luck!
