See your dentist: Pain in the jaw, whether the upper jaw or lower jaw is not normal. Pain or soreness with opening could be related to a number of different causes. A clinical examination with the appropriated x-rays performed by your dentist would be recommended to diagnose your problem and correctly provide any indicated recommendations for treatment.
