Doctor told me to increase citalopram from 20mg to 30mg. been on 20mg for 3 weeks but will i have any bad side effects from increasing?

Unlikely: If you have been taking the 20mg of Citalopram without a problem, it is unlikely you will have a problem with increasing to 30mg. Citalopram tends to have minimal side effects for most people. If you notice anything with the increase (such as headache or tiredness), I would expect those effects to go away in a few days.
