See your doctor: Your doctor may need to refer you for psychiatric therapy if she also agrees with your diagnosis. You will need to see someone who specializes in that disorder along with possible medication. Many anxiety disorders include fear of medication and the patient has difficulty consistently following the treatment plan. I hope you will be able to stay the course and get well soon.

Online resources: Recognizing the problem & deciding to take action is a great start! "Self-help cognitive behavioral therapy for binge eating disorder" (CBT-BED) is an excellent tool. Info & guides are revealed by a Google search for "defeating binge eating pdf" . "Recovery Record" is a very useful app for iPhone & Android (methyltestosterone) devices: http://www.recoveryrecord.com . Please discuss w PCP &/or therapist, also.

Therapy: I would encourage you to seek a therapist who has experience with this type of eating disorder. Seeing a nutritionist who can help you to manage healthy meal plans would also be a good idea.
